Girls' Generation released their 4th album together with "I Got A Boy" MV on January 1, Although 10 have passed since they released the track, SNSD's I Got A Boy is still taking the first place on several music Charts.

On January 9, Oricon Style reported that Big Bang and 2PM ranked in the top eleven concerts of 2012, selected by the Oricon Chart, with their concerts held in Japan last year.

Big Bang went on a tour o Japanlast year as part of their world tour under the title of Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 in Japan and 2PM held 6 concerts at the Budokan in Tokyo last year entitled  "2PM Live 2012 Six Beautiful Days."

CN Blue recently released an exotic cover photo for their new EP.

On January 9, FNC Entertainment, CN Blue’s agency, released a photo of CN Blue with a sad look on their faces with a street in London in the background.

The photo gives a vintage feeling as the UK is the home of band music.

On January 2,  fashion magazine In Style released a pictorial of Hyomin and published Hyomin's interview.

Hyomin said, “I know how important my place is right now. I think I can look at my sides, front, and back including my family and friends. I will strive for perfection, little by little.”

PSY confirmed that he will be attending MBC's KPOP Festival.

KPOP Festival will be held at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan and Imjingak Pyeonhwa Nuri Park.On the december 29 MBC's representative said that PSY will be attending to the event.

 JYP Entertainment holds their 10th annual official audition across South Korea.

For people who are willing to join the audition are requested to apply online and upload a video of themselves showing their talents and attend the second round of auditions which will be held in various regions across the country. It has also been revealed that one participant with an outstanding talent will receive ‘JYPass’, which will enable the participant to immediately move on to the final round without going through the normal judging process.
